Idag uppdateras det med att jag Fredrik Isakson som spelar bas i EL-SD har skrivit en uppsats som heter: Hjälte eller mentor: Idoler och förebilder bland skateboardåkande unga män. Här finns den att ladda ner: http://www.diva-portal.org/smash/record.jsf?searchId=1&pid=diva2:395411 Over and out. Fredrik
EL-SD is at the moment a very happy band. The recording of the drums for the fullength album is now finished. The vocals are more or less already done. We will begin to record the guitars in march, the bass and some synth and other cool stuff in the beginning of april. Hopefully we will have the record mastered and done in june. Then the hunt for some nice recordlabels that are willing to cooperate begins. If we and you are lucky the record will be out sometime around christmas 2011...
But i promise you that we will stay busy. Next week we will begin to rehars again, write new songs and have a great time together.
We are also going to play some shows this spring.
When the album is done the recording of an EP will begin.
The ep will be recorded in Martins studio (stilstudion) and we will try to release
it in august/september...
until then, stay sharp!
Best Regards // EL-SD
hey! at the moment Martin Senter is in uppsala recording drums for the upcoming el-sd fullenght album. Carl Vikman is doing a hell of a job while Martin is playing as taight as he possibly can.
El-SD has been kind of invisible the last couple of month/more with no shows etc...
So you might wonder what is happening and how have we been?
Where still recording the tracks for our upcoming releases! It´s going great but perfection takes a bit longer. A more krautish sound has grown from the seed we once sow, but we still keep dusting of the 1990s collection from Touch & GO, Amphetamine Reptile etc. 8 songs are set for the full length LP and we're planing to get an EP out before.
Martin is working hard at the moment recording Traktors upcoming release and his Popette-Solo project is in motion with lots of shows and great publicity! This february he will record new drum tracks for our future LP with Carl Viklund!
Frippe been fully booked with school and raising his two rascals.
Fredrik got a new role as a father. He will soon add some more guitars the tracks on our LP!
I (Martin aka. Bräcke) have been fully occupied with my evergrowing collection of stuff(just ask if you're curious). I've also done a Fredrik and will soon get the results!
So what´s cooking in the pot of greatness?
